£6.50 per Hour

Our client is a UK leading provider within the Support Services Sector providing basic personal care, direct care and support to enable people with diverse and often complex needs reach their full potential. Support workers assist, identify and enable the development of social, personal and domestic skills in conjunction with their care co-ordinators.

The role of a support worker is extremely rewarding and has the feel good factor when it comes to job satisfaction by enabling service users (the people they help) to benefit from the freedom to enjoy everyday life. Due to increased demand for support services across the area, we now have opportunities for applicants who wish to pursue a career within Support Services.

To be considered for the post, you are not required to have experience within support services, just demonstrate the right personal attitude and characteristics required to work in this sector. The ideal support worker will be caring by nature, with the ability to communicate with those around them, be patient and willing to assist in the day to day activities of their assigned service users. The role and duties of a support worker are broad and varied, but generally include the provision of help and support, in order to encourage service user's autonomy, personal choice and independence.
