Deputy Team Manager (QSW) R+A

Our client the London Borough of Brent are looking to recruit a Deputy Team Manager in their R+A Team.

The appointed Deputy Team Manager will be required to ensure that children and young people are placed in fostering and residential placements that are safe, capable of, and effective in meeting their particular needs. To ensure that children and young people on the edge of care get appropriate packages of support To ensure that Brent Council gets best value from the independent fostering and residential services it purchases. To have a lead role in the team in supporting Access to Resources officers/social workers in meeting the above objectives. To supervise a number of social workers and social work assistants in the locality teams, to participate in the management of the duty service within the designated locality, to work in partnership with the local community resources and agencies.

The successful Deputy Team manager will be GSCC registered and have 4 years post qualification experience.
