Floating Deputy Manager

£16,000 to £17,000 per Annum

A fantastic opportunity to take a Deputy Manager position within a lovely Nursery that offers excellent career progression.

This positions involves working with children 0-5 years and would be suitable for experienced Nursery practitioners who have experience in a Senior Role.

You will be responsible for ensuring the room runs smoothly and all parents are happy with the childcare service they are receiving aswell as the day to day running of the Nursery in the absence of the Manager.

If you feel you have the communication skills and confidence required to manage a busy room and Nursery setting and ensure high quality childcare standards are met, this is an opportunity not to be missed.

A NVQ3 or equivalent is essential for this role.

Excellent salaries are paid to successful applicants. You will receive ongoing training and support including the Early years Degree.

Some of your responsibilities of a Deputy Manager will include:

Parent show rounds
To ensure the children are cared for in a happy, safe and stimulating environment
To plan, prepare and review the curriculum with the team in your room reflective of the EYFS
To work in partnership with the parents
To follow and implement all the policies and procedures set out by the nursery
To work as part of a team
