Regional Finance Assistant (Temporary)

£15,099 per Annum

Maternity Cover - 6 months

Sense is a progressive national and international charity, working to support and empower those who are deafblind and who have disabilities, enabling them to fulfil their potential and enjoy maximum independence.

We are looking for a well-motivated individual to assist our Regional Finance Team in supporting business and financial management of our services across the West Region.

The position will involve a range of financial activities including purchase ledger management, reconciliation and customer enquiries. You must therefore have previous relevant financial experience. Knowledge of state benefits and financial issues affecting people living in residential care homes would be beneficial but not essential as training will be given.

You must be numerate and computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office packages. You should possess a good statutory education with passes in GCSE Maths and English, or equivalent, being essential.

The successful candidate will be a good communicator with experience of using computerised accounting systems.
