We are a forward thinking, successful, residential special school, catering for young people aged 11 to 19 with Autistic Spectrum Disorders. We have an excellent reputation both nationally and locally and received an outstanding Ofsted Report recently.

Due to the promotion of one of our Care Managers to a Registered Care Manager at one of our satellite houses, we now have the following vacancy for a Care Manager.

As part of a team of 3 Care Managers in the school, you will work on a rota basis, providing support and guidance to the staff involved in supporting our students. You will need to have experience and an understanding of the needs of young people and have the ability to supervise and develop staff under your direct management. You’ll need to be a flexible and resourceful leader of a very supportive and hard working staff team and have experience of working in a similar setting.

You will be responsible for managing the residential provision for a group of students at the school.

You will hold or be willing to gain a recognised care management qualification to NVQ4 and A1/V1 Awards. A belief in non-aversive positive approach strategies is required, as is a willingness to participate in further training and development.
