A satellite house under the umbrella of Hill House School which caters for young people aged 16 -25. The house provides for the community based transition placement for young people from our local residential ASD schools. Our aim for these students is to develop their community and life skills in preparation for as independent an adulthood as is achievable.

Due to the current postholder’s promotion within the Group we now have this vacancy for a Care Manager.

As Care Manager for this house, you will play a pivotal role. You’ll be responsible for ensuring high standards for our young people. Responsibilities include managing staffing, budget and resources, building maintenance and health. Leading and supporting your staff team, you’ll create and monitor individual care plans in what could be your most challenging and inspiring role yet.

You should have proven supervisory experience in a care setting and a track record of working with people with difficulties similar to those experienced by our young people. Highly organised you should have excellent communication and relationship building skills.

You will hold or be willing to gain a recognised care management qualification to NVQ4 and A1/V1 Awards. A belief in non-aversive positive approach strategies is required, as is a willingness to participate in further training and development.
