A prestigious organisation based in Berkshire is currently looking to secure a temporary specialist to hold a Part-time Floating Support Worker post on a 1-2 month ongoing basis.
The role will involve managing a caseload of vulnerable clients, predominantly catering to those with mental health issues and substance misuse issues.
The day to day duties will require drawing up support plans and risk assessments to meet individual client needs, promoting independent living by enabling clients to make informed choices about their lifestyle and housing issues, along with providing advice on housing benefits.
In addition to these day to day duties the successful candidate will be required to promote and instigate joint working with the Community Mental Health Team and make referrals to other agencies.
Along with an Enhanced CRB Disclosure updated within the last year it is also essential that you have a full driving license with access to a car.
