A local authority in Hampshire is currently recruiting for a temporary Service Charge Manager to work within their housing department. The position is a 6 months fixed term contract to start with immediate effect.
Main duties of the role will be; managing the service charge team on policy, strategy and service development on all matters relating to annual service charge calculation, building insurance and the development of services for leaseholders.
You will also be responsible for establishing new processes within the team, preparing service charge budgets and accounts in line with agreed timescales and to manage all Service Charges for both mixed tenure estates including privately owned flats.
The successful candidate must have relevant experience of leasehold management and service charges as well as the ability to manage a team of staff through task assignments and coaching.
