This home is a modern, purpose built nursing home, conveniently located in a quiet residential area close to the centre of the bustling town of Dereham.
This nursing and dementia care home benefits from all of the usual facilities and amenities that you would expect with a town centre position, and enables residents to maintain close links with the local community. Approached by a sweeping drive through a large front garden, the light and airy, single storey redbrick building is laid out around a central lawned quadrangle and feature fountain, which provides a strong focal point for the home.
It has been carefully designed to provide the perfect environment for the nursing care of the elderly, and the specialised care of residents suffering from Alzheimer’s disease and other dementia illnesses.
Requirements:
NMC Registered - Essential
Excellent communication skils
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong team skills

Organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Responsibilities:
To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the service user’s needs
To create and maintain with the home’s staff an environment in which all members of staff can contribute to the maximum of their ability in providing a high standard of skilled nursing care to the service users and encourage recognition of the service user as an Individual. (See Charter of Rights of Service Users)
To recognise the legal implications of nursing documentation
To be aware of demonstrate relevant statutory legislation and company policies and procedures e.g. CS Act, NMC guidelines, Health and Safety (see role specification)
To adhere to all procedures (see Policies & Procedures Manuals) implemented in the Home and demonstrate understanding in practice
To assess, implement and evaluate care for the residents
