Staff Medical Ltd are currently recruiting on behalf of a large Care Home Group, who are fantastic employers and believe in giving a first class service to their employees and residents

This Care Centre will be a prestigious purpose built care home that is currently under construction. . It provides elderly residents professional Nursing Care and Specialist Dementia Care in superior accommodation laid out over 2 floors with different levels of care and support being delivered on each self-contained floor.

The purpose built care centre provides accommodation that has been carefully designed around the specific health and social needs characterised by the ageing process to ensure a pleasing environment which promotes independence, assists orientation and provides light, bright living accommodation. The home will be warm, friendly and have a real “home from home” feel, with hospitality services in place to ensure the highest standards are consistently achieved. It is a 70 bedded care home.

Requirements:

NMC Registered - Essential
Excellent communication skils
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong team skills

Good interpersonal skills
Good written/oral skills
Demonstrate commitment to the values of the company
Good clinical knowledge
Assertive and confident
Organisational skills and ability to multi-task
Responsibilities:

To assess, plan, implement and evaluate the service user’s needs
To create and maintain with the home’s staff an environment in which all members of staff can contribute to the maximum of their ability in providing a high standard of skilled nursing care to the service users and encourage recognition of the service user as an Individual. (See Charter of Rights of Service Users)
To recognise the legal implications of nursing documentation
To be aware of demonstrate relevant statutory legislation and company policies and procedures e.g. CS Act, NMC guidelines, Health and Safety (see role specification)
To adhere to all procedures (see Policies & Procedures Manuals) implemented in the Home and demonstrate understanding in practice
To assess, implement and evaluate care for the residents
