Refuge Support Worker

My client is a well established refuge, supporting women who have fled domestics abuse.

To meet the requirements laid out in the Supporting People Quality Assessment Framework or relevant quality standard. To address Complex and multiple needs of the women. To be able to take detailed referrals. Provide support in claiming benefits or financial assistance to cover the cost of the stay.

Undertake needs and risk assessments in consultation with the resident.Support and prepare women in the process of moving on/moving out and making links with the resettlement service

And most of all, Support staff are now required to hold an NVQ Level 3 minimum in Social Care
