Future Home Care

Support Worker - Supported Living 18HOURS PER WEEK ( COMPRISING OF 6 SHIFTS OF 3 HOURS PER DAY PER WEEK)

Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, East Midlands

£6.30 to £7.35 per Hour

Future Home Care Ltd provides supported living services to adults with learning disabilities. We work across the UK and we currently have projects in Birmingham, Kent, Southampton, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.

The role of support worker would be to care and support for an individual in their own property within the community. In this rewarding environment you will support individuals to lead an independent lifestyle.

Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring that support plans reflect the standards
• Assist in development and promotion activities for service users
• Ensure the individual standards of care and support are maintained at all times
• Assist in development and promotion activities for service users
• Ensure the individual is supported to maintain their home

Successful candidates will have relevant experience in a support worker role and have experience of dealing with challenging verbal behaviour,

Working hours will be approximately 10am-1pm, this can be flexible to a degree.

A passion for supporting individuals with learning disabilities is also required for this role.
NVQ level 2/3 Heath and Social Care are advantageous. Applicants must be committed to working as part of a team.

Successful applicants will be requested to complete an enhanced disclosure. Expense for this will be met by Future Home Care Ltd.
