As a support worker you will support adults with learning disabilities and complex needs within a supported living environment, providing individually designed support ensuring that the service users receive the highest standard of support/care; appropriate to their individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
-Promoting and following the philosophy and practices of supported living; which seeks to protect, promote and respect the rights of the service users to lead an independent lifestyle.
-To ensure that support provided to the service user follows the agreed plan of care that focused on their individual needs.
-Assisting in the development and promotion of a variety of activities for the service users within the community.
-Supporting the service user in maintaining their property.
We are currently offering all staff a Learning Disability Qualification Level III to all staff once the probation period is successfully completed.
Applicants need to have at least 2 years experience working with adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

This position is working 37.5 hours per week, you will be given 4 weeks rotas in advance, to be flexible across 7 days, including days, nights, sleep-ins and waking nights. You will work evey other weekend only.
