Description:
Future Home Care Ltd provides supported living services to adults with learning disabilities. We work with over 150 service users across the UK and we currently have projects in Birmingham, where we originated, Kent, Southampton, across the east midlands in Northamptonshire, Leicestershire, Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire.
Key Responsibilities include:
The Project Manager will take responsibility for the monitoring and management of an agreed number of Supported Living Projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for the management of delivering care and support to service users within such Projects.
The main function of the Project Manager is to ensure that the quality of care and support delivered to the service user is of a high standard and that the staff delivering such care and support are appropriately managed, supervised and trained.
Key Requirements & experience needed:
It is essential that applicants have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Health & Social Care.
A RMA or NVQ Level 4 Leadership & Management Award, degree in management or a RNLD or other Professional Qualification is desirable however not essential.
Relevant experience working in a Management or Supervisory role within the Care Sector is essential. Experience of working with Adults with Learning Disabilities, Experience of working closely with families and/or professional carers and Experience of working as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team (MDT) are all essential skills and experience for this role. Experience of working with individuals that have complex needs and demonstrate challenging behaviour is desirable.
