Support Worker for Adults with Learning Disabilities in Narborough

East Midlands

£6.30 to £7.35 per Hour

Support Workers required, £6.30-£7.35 per hour, Full time/Part Time/Bank work offered.

An exciting opportunity has recently arisen for experienced Support Workers to join the team at Future Home Care in our Leicestershire projects. Our vacancy is in a Narborough project, Leicester (although if employed you would work as part of the Leicestershire Service)

Future Home Care has rapidly become a leading care provider supporting learning disabled adults to live independent lifestyles within the community.

The main function of the Support Worker is to help support adults with Learning Disabilities and/or Mental Health problems living in shared or single occupancy supported housing schemes whilst adhering to CQC guidelines.

Key Responsibilities include:
• To promote and respect the rights of the individual to lead an independent lifestyle of their own choosing.
• To ensure high standards of care are maintained at all times,
• To assist in the development and promotion of a variety of activities for the service users within the community.

Essential candidate specifications:
• Relevant experience working as a Support Worker or in a care environment, preferably with the learning disabled.
• The ability to work towards Level 3 Certificate in Learning Disabilities.
