VP Forensic are a specialist nursing recruitment agency supplying staff to secure units, hospitals and clients in their own homes. Our client groups include forensic mental health, brain injury and learning disabilities. We are currently seeking RMN’s and RNLD’s to work in a low secure unit within Gainsborough, working with clients who have a personality disorder and or mental health problems As an agency staff member your shifts are on an as & when needed basis & can either be booked in advance or given at short notice. Staff Nurses will have previous experience in a mental health or learning disability settings & ideally previous experience in forensic mental health. Knowledge of Mental Health Act and associated legislation, therapeutic approaches, Care Programme Approach and associated statutory legislation is also desirable Management of violence and aggression training is essential and can be provided through VP at a cost to the applicant. A full induction will be given, covering all mandatory training including health and safety, safeguarding adults etc. Successful applicants will be required to provide an enhanced disclosure, at a cost to the applicant.
