NVQ Internal Verifier- Children's Care

Our Beacon College status, an accolade of which we are justly proud, provides public recognition of this and places us amongst the best colleges in the countryNVQ Internal Verifier - Children's Care Learning and Development (CCLD).Based in the Gloucestershire region.This is an excellent opportunity to be involved in the assessment process allowing people to achieve a full NVQ L2 and/or L3 qualification in their relevant occupational sector. You will be required to verify portfolios where you will have regular standardisation meetings to support the college assessors through the NVQ process. This will involve regular visits to the college and also remote support of the assessors to ensure best practice is followed. You will also liaise with EVs regarding quality assurance of the delivery process.The role is initially offered on a flexible basis, hours will depend on your availability with an approximate pay of £14.50 per hour. Your occupational experience will cover a broad range of activities from within the relevant industry sector including:-Children's Care Learning and DevelopmentYou will be experienced at assessing and verifying NVQ candidates within the working environment having achieved your assessor and verifier qualifications (D32/D33, D34, A1,V1 ). Any other experience within the training environment such as key skills/basic skills training, tutoring would be desirable. It would be beneficial if you possess your own driving licence as the role will involve travelling to various sites.
