Senior Care Assistant requires for a Prestigious Nursing Home, situated in Maidstone, Kent. This 89 bedded purpose built nursing home committed to excellence in care, is looking for an experienced Senior Care Assistant, to join their existing team.

Main requirements are common-sense and a willingness to help. As experience and capability develop, more scope can be given resulting in greater job satisfaction.

Responsibilities:
* Under the management of a Registered Nurse/Home Manager, to carry out procedures within your competences to assist with the care of residents.
* To make verbal reports to senior staff regarding the residents in the Home as necessary.
* To assist senior staff with leadership and co-ordination of the care team.
* To ensure that residents are helped to retain their dignity and individuality.
* To participate in the treatment and rehabilitation of residents in as required.
* To take all reasonable steps to ensure the safekeeping of residents property.
* Carrying out general household duties that promote the welfare of residents
* To attend appropriate training courses or study as requested.

Additional Information:-
* Full-time / Permanent
* 42 - 48 hours on a shift basis (12 hour shifts)
* Time & half - Bank Holidays
* Double time - Christmas Day/Boxing Day & New Years Day
* Pension available after qualifying period
