3. Duties and Key Responsibilities.

a)	Ensure all Care Workers and Senior Care Workers are utilising the electronic monitoring system in accordance with the Bedfordshire County Council / Luton Borough Council Contract.

b)	Contact Senior Care Workers and Care Workers who are not using the electronic monitoring system correctly, and support with contract compliance.

c)	To ensure all reports are provided in a timely manor and in line with the Bedfordshire County Council/ Luton Borough Council Contract.

d)	To complete the monthly payroll, ensuring payroll is authorised by Branch Manager

e)	Preparation of statistics relating to all aspects of service delivery.

f)	 Collating budgetary information as required and in accordance with Best Practice.

g)	Maintaining accurate records of holiday requests, sickness, maternity etc. and ensure this is transferred to the monthly payroll.

h)	To collate Service User respite, holiday and hospital hours as required in accordance with Best Practice.

i)	Ensure all administration is organised and files are accessible to all branch staff.


j)	Ensure that all complaints referred to staff are dealt with promptly in line with Goldsborough Home Care&amp;#226;&amp;#8364;&amp;#8482;s / Medico Nursing and Homecare&amp;#226;&amp;#8364;&amp;#8482;s Best Practice, policies and procedures.

k)	Support the Branch Manager and Co-ordinators in assisting to ensure that all Care Workers and Senior Care Workers carry out the mandatory training, on an annual basis 

l)	Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required.

m)	Ensure service user records and administration procedures (including computer procedures) are regularly maintained and updated.

			<description>Freedom Socialcare require a Domicilliary Care manager to set up and establish a new home care division within our Chippenham office.
We are in the process of accreditation with Wiltshire County Council and will shortly be able to take on service users.

This position requires the manager to visit clients in their own home to carry out risk assessments including manual handling, prepare and update care plans, undertake quality questionnaires, to resolve any problems in which the client may have with regards to their care. 
Also required to assist with all recruitment, selection and training of new care workers. 
A Car owner is essential. Computer literacy essential.
Candidate must have excellent communication and writing skills, is able to work in a calm relaxed manner and have an abundance common sense coupled with a great sense of humour. 
Must also be flexible as on-call will be required and will need to carry out visits to start with whilst building up a carers bank. 
You will become the registered manager and will need to make yourself knowlegable of the CSCI regulations and able to work towards NVQ 4 if applicable.
You will be fully supported by our Bristol team who already run a successful and established community care team.</description>
